An
"unauthorizedparody," the play imagines characters from
the popular comic stripPeanutsasteenagers. Drug use, suicide, eating disorders,
teen violence, rebellion, sexual relations and identity are among the issues
covered in this drama.
JT: It’s really good idea until becomes bad idea probably
that becomes a bad idea really fast. I think that everybody can agree with us
when we say that at some points if you going to intimate with someone at some
point somebody is going to feel something.
EL: If it’s bad, no one is going to develop any feeling.
JT: Well, they will develop feeling but it’s gonna be
like “Ummm”. But I feel like a… like this film we… we had a lot of fun making
this film. We obviously use those awkward situations, hopefully somebody out
there will have you know some relation to how awkward sometimes sex can be and
hopefully… the message we are trying to crosses that it’s not that so much OK
to have sex with your friend or so much that it might be ok to fall in love
with your friend. We may or may not fall in love in the end of this movie.
